A dog in Missouri may be rethinking being man's best friend.
 
Her master thought water-skiing on the "Mighty Mississippi" on New Year's Day was a good idea.
 
It was windy and cold in St. Louis with temperatures hovering around the mid-20s, but that didn't stop U.S. Water Skiing Champion, Kevin Day and his trusty dog, Brown Sugar, from braving the cold.
 
This year's event raises money for the Missouri Disabled Waterski Association.
 
Skiing in front of the St. Louis Arch on New Year's Day has been a tradition for 32 years.
